Shake the container for at least 3 minutes after you hear the marble. Before first use, spray in the air for 3-4 seconds, with the black valve, to remove any condensed paint from the inner tube. Test the spray first on a test surface. Spray the object you want to paint from a relatively close distance, 8-10 cm with the black valve or 4-5 cm with the white valve. If you press the injector while holding your hand steady, there is a chance that the paint will run and create “tears”. We recommend you apply a second coat, 5-10 minutes apart, and then apply varnish. If the nozzle is blocked, replace it with a new one. For best results paint at temperatures between 10-25°C and when the humidity is below 65% to ensure proper application. After use, turn the container upside down and spray for 3 seconds. Storage 05-35°C.

TIPS:

• Choose a well-ventilated area and place the surface you want to paint over nylon protection
• Always use personal protective equipment gloves/mask
• Make sure the surface you want to paint is clean, dry, even and smooth
• Old wooden furniture may have been polished with wax, on these use a wire with a little white spirit to clean them before they are painted. Painted woods with paint should ideally be sanded with P180 sandpaper before painting
• Cover the areas you don’t want to paint with masking tape. Place protective nylon under and behind the surface you wish to spray to avoid accidents
• Apply two hands of the Chalk Effect series in relatively quick strokes
• Spray first vertically and then horizontally. Wait 5-10 minutes before painting the next hand
• For small objects or areas that require special attention to detail, use the white spray nozzle from a distance of 4-5 cm. For larger surfaces and speed use the black spray nozzle from a distance of 8-10 cm
• If you want to achieve the effect of natural wear, one day (24 hours) after painting, use a fine sandpaper P180-220 and gently rub the areas of the surface you wish to remove the paint, revealing the bare wood. This technique works best if you choose to sand the corners and edges of your surface
• You can also combine two (2) different colours, a light base colour like Chalk Effect Pure White with a second colour on top. When you sand the exterior paint instead of the wood it will reveal the paint colour
